Divinity: Dragon Commander is an original blend of RTS-a turn-based strategy and action games. It is also the first contact with the strategies Belgian Larian studios, which until now has been known primarily from the production of role-playing games (Divinity series). Action Divinity: Dragon Commander is set in the universe created by the studio for the Divinity series and tells the story of the events that took place long before those artists appeared in Divinity II. The player takes the role of a young dragon knight, a powerful warrior capable of conversion into a dragon, which is fighting for survival Rivellonu after his father, the king, is murdered. The world that we will see during the game, is an unconventional marriage of well-known patterns of fantasy with advanced technology. Its creators drew inspiration from steampunk and dieselpunkowej design.
The game consists of three major parts. The first of these takes on the commander-in-chief who lives in one of the Flying Fortresses of the Empire. It is here that we can seek the advice of advisers and take different weights policy decisions that affect the further development of the campaign. The second part of the game is a strategic map, fulfilling the same role as its counterpart in the Total War series or planszowym Risk. Using the map, we can look at the whole world in advance, plan the next actions and build and deploy troops. In turn-based mode, move from province to province, and our forces command center, as well as decide on the direction of the next offensive, and we want to seize the lands of the enemy.
The third part of the game is the battle screen. The rolling of the air battles involving many aircraft of all sizes, and the title dragons.
